Ad-blocking is Leading to a ‘Tech War’ with Publishers Caught in the Crossfire

Many in ad tech have been looking for the next new frontier of digital advertising and – perhaps sadly – it seems that  the latest round of ad tech start-ups will be focusing on either blocking ads or ‘unblocking them’ by blocking the blockers. In an interview with VAN, Erol Soyer, Managing Director for International, believes that we’re entering a ‘tech war’ where various vendors will battle it out to either suppress or display advertising.
