Taking Risks is the Safest Option for Competing with Tech Giants says Paddy Power Betfair’s Mäki


While the riskiest thing to do in the digital advertising world is playing it safe, the tech giants can’t always afford to do this since they face the most political and regulatory hurdles says Paddy Power Betfair’s digital director Antti Mäki. He argues therefore that the most important thing to do in order to compete with the tech giants is to take the risks which they can’t. In this interview Mäki also discusses why he believes businesses are now operating in an “exponential world”, and talks about how companies should work around this.
