P&G’s chief brand office Marc Pritchard spoke at DMEXCO this year about how advertisers should look beyond brand safety and think more widely about the type of content their ads are attached too. “How many cat videos should we advertise on?” he asked the audience. Glomex’s CEO Michael Jaschke agrees with this concern, arguing here that it’s just as important that ads are attached to “broadcaster quality” content as it is that they’re played in a brand safe environment. Jaschke also discusses why he believes not platform can guarantee 100 percent brand safety, and why he thinks there’s no limit to how many publishers can share syndicated content.
