ProSiebenSat.1, TF1 and Mediaset launched the European Broadcaster Exchange (EBX) earlier this year, a joint trading platform for digital video advertising designed to accommodate media agencies planning pan-European advertising campaigns. We spoke to two of the leading players at DMEXCO; Paola Colombo, General Manager of AdTech & Business Development at Publitalia and Olivier Abecassis, Chief Digital Officer at TF1. In order to succeed, says Abecassis, EBX needs to be easy for customers to use, and must have its advantages over local offerings clearly marketed.
