Germany’s SevenOne Media and Nugg.ad Introduce Group-Specific HbbTV Targeting


SevenOne Media and Nugg.adProSiebenSat.1 publisher and SevenOneMedia and targeting specialist nugg.ad will be able to apply predictive behavioural targeting on video advertising campaigns delivered via HbbTV. The new targeting will be available on TV channels such as SAT.1, ProSieben, kabel eins, and sixx.

HbbTV, or ‘hybrid broadcast broadband TV’, combines traditional broadcast, IPTV and broadband to provide more interactive viewing experiences. The HbbTV specification is being trialled in many markets but is already in regular operation in some, most notably in Germany, France and Spain.

SevenOne Media will also be working with nugg.ad on offering mobile in-app targeting to buyers, with the target group-specific approach will be available via the mobile apps of 7TV, ran, dailyMe and N24.
