Ad of the Week: Geico Insurance, ‘Camel on Hump Day’, The Martin Agency

The silly season, that part of the summer where nothing happens and nobody’s watching the news or TV,  is now well and truly upon us. And it’s not just the TV schedules and news organisations that are affected – advertising gets worse too (although perhaps this week is a result of the post-Cannes fall-out). In fact, the ads on offer this week were so bad that we decided to bypass them in favour of one that is released back in May, but continues to do well virally. This ad was produced by The Martin Agency for US-based Geico Insurance, and features a gregarious camel who’s excited about it being his favourite day of the week.
