Recently Google have been running ‘hangouts’ on a range of digital marketing issues, and the latest series looks at “Video in the Future”. In this first instalment, the IAB’s VP of Ad Technology, Steve Sullivan, speaks with Silver Chalice’s EVP & GM, Rich Routman, and TubeMogul’s Chief Strategy Officer, Jason Lopatecki, about the value of programmatic video. It’s an interesting discussion that covers a range of topics, from how programmatic is perceived by TV buyers to what brands are looking for from video (sadly, many are still focused on clicks).
